visited the store to complete a fingerprinting / Live Scan service. The store does not appear to have direct coordination or communication with the fingerprinting company they use, which resulted in my Live Scan not reaching the appropriate department. When I contacted the store to follow up, I was informed that the only assistance they could provide was a phone number for the fingerprinting company. I asked why there is no coordination between the store and the fingerprinting provider when the service is offered at this location. Instead of receiving a professional explanation, I was told “there is nothing we can do.” During this call, the store manager, Catherine, raised her voice, spoke in an unprofessional manner, and abruptly disconnected the call. I called back and spoke with the owner, who identified himself as Paul, to file a complaint regarding the manager’s behavior. He dismissed my concerns and stated that there was little he could do. When I clearly stated that I wanted to file a formal complaint regarding the conduct of the manager, he minimized the issue and made inappropriate remarks. During this conversation, the owner made an offensive statement referencing a “mentally retarded brother” in an attempt to “relate” after I referenced IHSS services. This language is inappropriate, outdated, and unacceptable in any customer interaction. It was deeply concerning and unprofessional. Throughout the interaction, I was met with sarcasm, dismissiveness, and a lack of accountability. It was implied that because the store is busy, staff have the right to speak to customers disrespectfully, refuse to answer reasonable questions, and terminate calls. This experience reflects a broader issue with the office’s customer service culture, professionalism, and staff training. I am requesting that UPS Corporate review this matter seriously and address the conduct, communication standards, and training practices at this location. I do not recommend this location to customers who expect respectful treatment, professionalism, or accountability.

The kids working could not wrap their heads around doing a Canadian passport picture. I provided the instructions and the person working barely even glanced at them before taking the pics. The lack of effort was disappointing at best.

The owner has no integrity or accountability and doesn't put the customer first. Regarding shipping packages to Mexico: I feel bad leaving this review because the manager was a sweetheart. However, I have no choice but to make others aware of this and hope my review leads to change. An apology doesn't suffice. I sent a package to Mexico and didn't know the Tax ID was required. Inexplicably, UPS doesn't require this on the invoice and isn't aware of it though it has been law for nearly a year and they undoubtedly (as I was told) have shipped many packages to Mexico. My package arrived in Mexico and they reached out to the recipient. Within one day the recipient provided the requisite information (tax ID). She was told via phone and email that it was ok, the package wouldn't be returned and they got the info in time. Turns out they were either lying or wrong because a week later it said the package was being returned. I called UPS and the manager was not aware of the ID requirement as it is not in their system to add to the invoice, though it should be. I was denied a refund of approximately $160. I was told it's a franchise and to call corporate. I don't know why the manager or store owner themselves wouldn't call corporate or email corporate to update the systems because this is an easy fix and I'm sure has affected countless people nationwide. So I called corporate and pleaded with them to update their systems. I asked about a refund and they referred me to my local store. It is wild that UPS hasn't updated their systems or awareness of international shipping requirements when the law has been in effect for nearly a year. Even worse, the information required was provided within 1 day of request and they STILL decided to send it back. Even after all the communication and assurances that everything was fine. So if you are going to ship with UPS I suggest only shipping domestically because their communication between other stores is abysmal and they do not keep up with current international responsibilities. The intended recipient of my package was told by multiple representatives that she would be getting it and that it (UPS) is a total mess and a lot of packages are being held up. The law itself is silly, but nonetheless UPS should be responsible and aware, it has been nearly a year since it was enacted. I talked to the guy who assisted me in shipping the item and he assured me they won't return it so soon, we ship to Mexico all the time and I've never heard of the code but should be fine. It's clear that they are just completely unaware of a process they should be aware of. The fact I don't get a refund when it is their fault is ridiculous. If the company is at fault, which in this case they are, they should absolutely refund no questions asked. No excuse of I can't file a report, it's already being returned, contact corporate, etc. The answer should be yes we made a mistake and want to make it right we will refund you and update our systems and communicate with corporate. I will not be using UPS again. If the owner had any sense of accountability and integrity I'd have gotten a refund on top of an apology and been assured they'd train their employees and update the system. Waste of time and $160 and a lot of stress. Since then I have called FedEx and asked them if they are aware of the Tax ID requirement. They told me they are and it is a part of their invoice. They also told me no package should be designated for return within 3 days of needing the code. I will definitely be using FedEx for international shipments. Avoid UPS.

This is an honest review based on my experience with ups in dekalb and the driver on the fixed route 3 times this driver comes to pick up package knowing he doesn't have the printed label provided by amazon for my return this delivery driver has tried to convince me to give him my pack ensuring me it will be scanned in later I have brought this to the Attention of staff each time but they always give some reason for him not having label and even stated that the bottom is just for tracking it's not just for tracking it's also receipt of confirmation that package has been received I agree with the review that stated that they attempt to steal packages because that is exactly what appears to be happening when the driver keeps showing up without printed labe I'm being inconvenienced to have it picked up a day later because I would not allow driver to take my package knowing he doesn't have label TO NOTE: This does not happen when a 'subs' are on this route I'm writing this review 10-6-25 because I have a pick up today after yesterday driver not having label when he arrived I'm charged a pick up fee for my returns NO LABEL! NO PACKAGE SIMPLE!!
