Got a price of paper 10 days later telling us to lift or mail box and trim the tree . The mail box was the same one the people living there before used for 20 years . Lost our jobs due to covid 19 did not have the extra money to go buy new poles and mail box . I could pull up to the mailbox in my minivan and put my hand out and open it. So went in to get my mail and was told that they sent our mail back because our box wasn’t lifted even though I was told by the lady behind the counter they would hold it for us. The gentleman literally would not let me tell him we were told it would continue to be held till we tell them differently. Instead he interrupted me and said this has been going on since March. Well I’m sorry I was laid off of work and I hadn’t received one unemployment check yet . We have 3 kids to take care of a the mailbox box being lifted was not my first concern. So we lifted the mailbox and guess what no Mail . Now the mail lady says it’s to wobbly . Not happy with this place at all. I loved the post office on Mound they were wonderful.
