This post office has devolved into a center for local gossip, defamation, and political triangulation. The 'Postmistress' is operating in a blatant conflict of interest by using her federal position to assist her direct neighbor, the Goose Creek Township Supervisor, in a personal harassment campaign. This is a direct violation of USPS policy. This includes the Postmistress providing baseless, defamatory character statements for use in the Supervisor’s failed recent court filings (dismissed for being legally insufficient). Beyond the ethical misconduct, there are serious operational failures occurring at this branch. This includes "stop the clock" violations (falsely scanning mail to manipulate delivery data) and the consistent mishandling of certified mail. My return green cards, critical legal proof of service, are being mishandled and invalidated, which directly interferes with legal proceedings. It is egregious to see a federal employee prioritize "neighborly" gossip and conspiracy over the sanctity of the mail and federal service standards. This facility is no longer a reliable link in the postal system; it is a corrupt extension of local political harassment. On top of all that, I have detected the smell of alchohol/liquor coming from this employee on several occasions. She also doesn't respect customer boundaries. An investigation has already been initiated with the USPS Office of Inspector General (OIG) to address these ethical breaches and the systemic mishandling of mail. Taxpayers and residents should be aware that their private information and legal mail are not handled with professional neutrality at this location or at the Weldon location.
