- BJBeverly JohnsonAug 8, 20252.0Ordered some signs I needed from WGN Flags. I had done business with this company for several decades off and on for real estate signs, flags and related items. So, I was excited to see they were still in business. The good: the signs were perfect and the price was fair. The bad: you can literally tell that they really don't want our black business, but feel they have to "put up" with us! I was very pleasant as always...very professional. There was nothing outright blatant, just an undertones of "we're only dealing with you because we have to." I thought it was just my imagination at first. When I sent my daughter to pick up my signs she said that they're not nice and borderline rude! And she's the nicest person in the world! When she walked in 3 people were sitting there, 2 totally ignored her and when she asked if she had the right place, she was met with a condescending response! Don't do that...please. If you don't want our black dollar$ then maybe it it's time to get out of our black neighborhood! You've been in the area for over 30 yrs correct? I think it's a family owned business? I don't think the folks running the business before you acted that way! Or maybe they just hid it better! Put on your game face (and voice) then, when you get to work. I don't want to deal with anyone who acts like they're doing me a favor to do business with me.
