The quality of postal carriers has significantly declined over the years. Recently, our mail carrier has been dumping everyone’s mail on the table, and we all have to sort through it ourselves. I’ve already called three times to report this to a supervisor, but nothing has changed.

I wonder who in their right mind would hire such people? Such a shame. They are no help at all.

A singular employee working the week before Christmas. Line of 20 people to the door. What is wrong with you people? Avoid this location at all costs.

Bad customer service. I went in at 10am on a Monday and tried to do the self service kiosk. Half of the boxes/envelopes were already gone, including the one I needed, and the second envelope/box area in the store was also out of the one I needed. There was a long line with one woman working the counter, and honestly it hadn’t moved in a while (I was searching a long time for the boxes). There was a second worker at another window, just sitting on her phone, so I went and asked her if there were any more of the priority mail envelopes in back because they were all out at the self service kiosk. She acted very irritated and in a rude tone told me she wasn’t a clerk and to go wait in line if I wanted help, then just went back to sitting on her phone (at an open window, mind you). Which honestly doesn’t make any sense, because I didn’t need help sending a package, just needed a restock of supplies (which also, why were half their boxes already out of stock in the morning at the beginning of the week?)—as a worker, does she not help restock the merchandise at all? Anyway, ended up having to wait in line and it took over twenty minutes just to get to the front of the line for something that the other woman could have very easily done in one minute.

One of the worst USPS locations in all of Chicago. The older asian man that works here is quite truly one of the worst workers I have ever laid my eyes on. 20 people in line, and hes fiddling with ONE (1) package on the scale for 10 minutes. Its embarrassing, the job pays good and you get benefits but you would think the workers are getting shorted somewhere here. Its embarrassing and changes WILL be made eventually that much I can assure. Calls have been made.
