As of the beginning of 2026 our regular mail carrier Mr Stallion was assigned a new route. Mr Stallion was just wonderful. Truly as asset to the USPS. The people on his new route are very lucky to have him. Now without Mr Stallion we go days without mail. When mail does show up, I find it in the early morning after giving up on delivery for that day. With the mail dashboard I can see what is coming and what hasn't shown up. God know what happens to it. Either the post office is understaffed or they hire people who just don't care and do what they want. I called Ashburn post office and spoke to a rude condescending individual claiming to be the manager (Sitler). Terrible service from the Ashburn post office. I use the Bedford park or Oaklawn locations to send mail. Now mail delivery is like Russian roulette. Hit or miss.

They are incompetent at this facility, the carriers deliver seems at their convenience, when you have a package delivery that State required signature, they just leave it on your door step, they don't ring either. And don't care,if it requires a signature usually it mean its something important? But they probably know what neighborhoods they can do this and get away with it.ans speaking with a manager is like speaking the carrier. just have a title because they do nothing but give an empty excuse.1 star is 1 too many but it doesn't allow 0 because that's what this office deserve.

No idea why this place has a bad rep, went there today, was out in less than 5 minutes, the lady working the counter was super sweet and everything was well stocked/clean. Nice post office

I wish I could choose my post office for mail delivery. I definitely wouldn't choose this one. It's better than it used to be but it still sucks. I bypass Ashburn location and take all my outgoing mail to Oak Lawn. I wouldn't even buy stamps there. I signed up for informed delivery and received an email that an important piece of mail will be in my mailbox September 5th. Never got it. I called the post office (never a friendly voice) and Natasha said they can only trace mail with a tracking number and she will tell the carrier to keep an eye out for it. What does that even mean? How can he keep an eye out for it when he apparently delivered it to someone else's mailbox. I've received mail addressed to my neighbors on occasion. I was not hired to deliver mail so I leave it in my mailbox with a note for the carrier.
