Good luck if you live in the area where this post office delivers your mail. Constantly pirces that never show up, from credit cards to legal paperwork, etc. If you contact them they will tell you that it's normal and there's no problem.

Ugh! One staff on duty, waited about 2 to 3 minutes he was busy in the back I called out he yelled back, came out 2 minutes later to tell me he’d be busy for 3 more minutes, after 3 minutes I started recording, 4 minutes later he came out to serve a massive line. This really is the worst P.O in Chicago. With the new changes the PO has made I now have to wait in line to get receipts for my packages to show when they were actually sent out. Poor management, makes for miserable staff!

Worst USPS in the world. Staff are rude and extremely slow. In addition, they take up so much street parking, even though they said they were going to build a parking garage for their fleets - never happened.

If you're reading this I have bad news for you; this is the worst postal office that I've ever dealt with in all my years of being a Chicago resident. I've filed 2 complaints about receiving my mail late, opened or mangled and did not get a response from anyone. Just look at all the other reviews. They are slow, incompetent (how hard is it to put mail in a mailbox without ripping it?) and rude. Next step is filing with the attorney general and you should too if you've experienced similar.

I strongly advise against using this USPS location for passport applications. I attended a scheduled passport appointment here where my application was reviewed, accepted, and fees were paid. Despite this, my passport application was never transmitted to the U.S. Department of State. The National Passport Information Center confirmed that no application was ever received, and USPS has been unable to locate it or provide a tracking number. This means that after USPS took custody of my passport application and original documents, it effectively disappeared. Customer service has been unhelpful, and I’ve been left to resolve an issue that should never happen with something as critical as a passport. Passport applications involve original identifying documents, time-sensitive travel needs, and federal processing. This location demonstrated a serious failure in handling that responsibility. If you value your time, documents, and peace of mind, do not apply for a passport at this location. Go the extra mile and apply directly at a passport agency or a more reliable facility instead. I wish I had.
