Avoid this place if possible! They are an absolute mess. I had an incident 2 weeks ago with one of the workers name Cesar about borrowing a piece of tape for one of my packages. Cesar pressed me to buy an entire new thing of packaging tape that was sold at the store or go all the way home and come back once package was taped, keep in mind this was as the store was closing in 10 minutes. Cesar then attempted to kick me out of the store stating he was the manager and they “didn’t want my business, and that he would call the cops”. I came back into the store because 1. He wasn’t the manager (lied) and 2. I did absolutely nothing wrong (most important). I ended up working with another worker name Tucker who was actually good, helped me out with a piece of tape, good customer service and shipped my package.
I returned to this store a week later asking to speak with a manager about the incident who wasn’t there yet again. By asking around the store I finally was able to get this worker’s name because he wasn’t wearing a proper name tag the day the original incident occurred and even the current day a week later when I returned. I am filing a formal complaint on this store and worker Cesar for this odd and shocking that experience. I had never had an experience so randomly bad and un-customer welcoming before.
UPS should be ashamed to have an active store that employs workers like Cesar and treats its customers like this. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!

It’s a busy location but manager Mr. Dennis is alright by me. All the male staff are super helpful and pleasant. You have to time your needs because the line will get long. As to be expected, the location is small

Service is quick. I’ve gone several times and usually don’t have to stand in line very long. Employees try to be efficient. This most recent time the guy helping me was very friendly. He even unloaded a rather large box from my personal dolly that I brought in to help me with box. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because they need to rethink their box storage. Boxes are always stacked near the counter, which can make space tight.

Pretty good service. Only thing its always busy here. Be prepared to wait 5 to 15 mins . Drop offs are pretty easy if you dont need receipt. Parking may also be a challenge just pay the meter its easier that way. That way you wont get a $75 ticket.

HORRIBLE customer service. Agree with previous reviews about petty fees. This is the only location in the city I have ever been to that nickels and dimes their customers and charges a $2 “taping” fee for a free Amazon return. If you’re downtown go to the UPS location on Grand and Franklin where they treat their customers well. The UPS store on Taylor St in University Village also does NOT charge ridiculous “taping” fees. Do not waste your time at this Halsted location unless you want to pay extra fees for your otherwise “free” return.
