I have repeatedly had amazing interactions with the Southport location stuff. They are super helpful and go above & beyond, always. They help me ensure my submitted document is ready to go, they always do a QC, and they always help me find the best deal for big orders which is super important because I am submitting on behalf of a small nonprofit. This location is amazing!

I thought it was just me into the customer after me came in regarding shipment of a laptop and she spoke to her in a disrespectful manner as well. Being kind , polite , and respectful is something fedex must NOT have as a requirement for their employees who are actually working the front line & face to face with their customers.

Just went in with four different orders and Dehvin had me out of there in no time. I may be misspelling his name, but awesome guy who really made what I thought would be a complicated shipment for work no problem.

I ordered a pair of laminated cards online. I paid online as well, so all I had to do was make a quick pick-up first thing in the morning (8:00 AM). I arrived at approximately 7:55 AM. As I approached this place, I noticed the overhead door slowly opening. I thought, "How convenient! The timing was perfect!" As I pulled into the garage, I saw a short, heavyset young woman walking away from the gate entrance. She stood at the entrance to the store with a hand on the glass door handle looking at me with a "poker face."
I lowered my window and said, "Good morning! I'm here just for a pick-up."
She replied loudly, "We open at 8:00!"
I responded, "Ok, no problem."
I figured she meant that she was not ready to take customers yet, so I lined up my car with the yellow diagonal parking lines and backed up to the concrete parking stop. I was going to wait until 8:01am, but then I heard a very loud, angry voice yell, "WE DON'T OPEN UNTIL 8!!!!!" It was the same lady. Apparently, she wanted me to wait outside on the metered streets even though she opened the overhead door to the store's Indoor Parking Garage. So I waited curbside with my hazard lights on until 8:01am, then I parked inside the garage again.
I went in the store, said good morning, and I smiled as if I was seeing her for the very first time. I gave her my information, received the laminated cards and exited the store.
I know it was Monday morning, and I know that many times we are not in the best of moods. Some of us may even have personal issues we are dealing with, but when your job brings you into close contact with the general public, and you are not in the best of moods, you may have to do a little bit of acting. On this day (December 1, 2025 @8:00am), the FED EX employee failed the Customer Service "Litmus Test". She had the personality of a Rattlesnake.
I hope someone from corporate read this review and use it to raise awareness of the importance of good customer service. Every customer is important, and you never know who that person may be that walks into your store.

I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding the unprofessional conduct I experienced at one of your locations today. An employee named Tony refused to accept my Comcast contractor discount code, stating, “We don’t take photocopies—you can do it yourself,” and further claimed that “FedEx doesn’t take discount codes.”
As a direct contractor with Comcast, I have used this same discount at other FedEx locations without issue. What made the situation even more concerning was that Tony and several other employees were standing around doing nothing, yet I was dismissed without assistance.
Because of this unprofessional and inaccurate handling of the situation, I will be escalating this matter through the proper legal channels and filing a formal complaint. I hope this issue is addressed promptly to prevent similar experiences for other customers.
