We had a terrible experience at this post office. Yesterday we waited in line for 40 minutes with two small kids, only to be told to wait another 20 minutes for the supervisor. After that, we were told we needed an appointment and should come back. No one mentioned any additional requirements. Today my husband and I returned for our appointment, and were suddenly told they couldn’t accept us because we didn’t bring the kids — something no one informed us about yesterday. We had already taken time off work both days for this appointment. The staff were extremely rude. One employee rolled her eyes at us multiple times, and the supervisor was very disrespectful and unprofessional. This location clearly lacks communication, professionalism, and basic customer service.

The Indian employee does not want to do his job. He is lazy, irresponsible, disrespectful and has a bad attitude towards customers. I wanted to change the address, they did not help me here. I changed it myself on the website.

I would like to share my personal experience. I had purchased a very rare item on eBay that I had waited several years to show up for sale, and one that I would have to wait several more years in case I missed it. It was shipped via USPS and, as luck would have it, was lost in transit. I was, needless to say, distraught. I went over to the post office, and was finally put in touch with the supervisor, Mr. Mark Pantaleone. After learning of my situation and observing my distress, he promised to do his best to located the lost item for me. He took my phone number, and kept me informed of his progress, and even worked on a Sunday to go through all the mail packages accumulated at the Buffalo Grove post office. The missing package was finally found and successfully delivered, and even the mail carrier who delivered it knew that I had a piece of missing mail, and inquired if this was indeed that missing package! I am blown away be the level of customer service and personal care that the staff at the Buffalo Grove post office, especially Mark Pantaleone and Mr. Noor showed me. I would like to thank the staff at the post office, as well as the United States Postal Service for fostering this culture of care and commitement!
