- KTKen TOct 27, 20221.0At 10/25/22 at 4:48PM, I visited the Bartonville Post Office to ship an item for my son's grandmother who had erroneously shipped me a package meant for someone else. No big deal. I repacked the item and brought in the correct address where the parcel needed shipped. Thinking the older female at the counter would have some common sense and simply copy the address and put a shipping slip on the box, I was quite surprised when she began interrogating me about the shipping address to California. Instead of printing the slip and putting the correct address on the box, the USPS geriatric cut up my paper slip and began taping my notebook page all over the box crudely. When asked why she couldn't print the postage slip I paid for, she was more worried about getting out of work because I came in 10 minutes before they closed. I expect this type of rude service at a restaurant if I come in late prior to close, but this level of disservice in the afternoon was uncalled for. I'm not going to post her name because everyone is entitled to a bad day, but she needs to not act so entitled in our small community when it is her job to print accurate shipping address labels and properly affix receipts to parcels once posted has been paid. I've also never had a problem with the guys who worked there during the day.
