Sorry, but the African American lady in front with blonde highlights in probably the most unhelpful person I’ve ever had to deal with in USPS. Avoid. She had trouble understanding basic change of address requests and told me it was impossible, whereas the next post office did it without a problem and with no drama. She repeatedly talked over me and refused to let me get a word in, she walked away from her station for five minutes to go check her cell phone, it was just a big mess. When she saw my ID has a neighboring city (Hoffman estates) she told me I must go to the Hoffman estates post office. That’s simply untrue. She factually lied in like ten instances because she wanted to avoid doing her job and to one up a customer. It was bizzare.

there was a fairly large line when I went into the post office, with only one clerk. she clearly needed help with the number of people that were coming in - and instead of assisting her, the woman in charge (I assume the manager?) came and started verbally berating her for accepting a passport renewal before his appointment time. I don't know anything about post office standard practice, but no matter what the mistake is, I feel like no staff member should be outwardly berated in front of customers. It is unprofessional, it makes customers uncomfortable, and it's very clear that the manager was power tripping over this poor employee. on top of that, the manager didn't even help the clerk, so the people in line had to wait even longer while this whole scenario played out. another clerk did come to the desk to start helping, but had clearly been pulled from a different task and was angry about it, so she was rude to both customers and the original clerk. I hope she can get into a better work environment.

Surprised by the negative reviews in general on this location. My team and I ship out thousands of ground and priority packages a week. Every other week we bring a bath of a few hundred here. We have never had a single package not get scanned or go missing. This location does their job and does it EXCEPTIONALLY. Name the location and I have a complaint about a staff members attitude or lack of accountability when packages disappear after not being scanned… but not this branch. They are friendly 95% of the time and I see too many 1 star reviews of people not realizing that maybe workers are stressed or having a bad day… this location is by far the best USPS location in the NW suburbs. I have been to 25-30 in the last 7-10 years and this is the only branch that does it right and I have nothing but good things to say.

Thank God I need passport change every 10years. They are not helpful at all. I really really dislike going into any of postal offices. Their employees are the reason why we don't wanna deal with postal services and they lose business. I choose ups over them at any time.

The one rep/cashier on duty was unfriendly and curt, expecting customers to know everything and anything on their own, giving them attitude when that was not the case. She also rushed through all the options I am supposed to check on my side (address, shipping speed, etc.) without letting me get a word in edgewise. I witnessed another customer ask to speak to a manager. This manager was supposedly paged, but after no one showed up for 20 minutes, the customer just left. The cashier made no reference to the customer or attempt to stop him. This was my first and last visit here.
