  Great experience at USPS office in antioch, IL today. Employee working the counter was named Walter- he was friendly, fast, very knowledgeable and helpful. The customer before me had an involved story about delivery problems and was told to come into the office. Walter was patient , listened carefully and very nicely redirected the customer to call a nearby office where the letter carriers were dispatched from and then He wrote down name and phone number. Great service. He handled my parcel quickly and was happy to price compare 2 options. Also great service.

  Currently been standing in line here for 20 minutes. 7 people in line and only one employee working. Such a fun place to visit

  I have to say I haven't had so many issues with my mail being delivered like I do with the Antioch Post Office. The post office itself is awesome. The people there are kind, courteous and helpful. When it comes to my mail being delivered it's just plain awful. The people that come to the neighborhood are always flying through the streets with their doors open and mail literally flying into the street. I have had to deliver someone mail to their house as far down two blocks over. Someone has came to my door and delivered to my home once because my mail was lying in the street in front of their home. I have been waiting for an important piece of mail that needs to be signed which should be no issues delivering it being that I work from home all day long. Instead of the worker ringing my door bell for a signature he lies and puts the "Not at home, First Attempt" sticky note in my mail box stuck to another piece of mail which just shows you the guy never even got out of his truck, otherwise that sticky note would have been stuck to my door instead of a piece of mail. I watched him speed off on my camera. WTH is wrong with people these days. The mail delivery people don't even wear the appropriate uniforms. They have worn cut off shorts, to tank tops and even flip flops blasting music either from their truck or portable speaker. Can you be any less professional? Pay attention, this is people's mail you are being careless with! Only reason they are even getting two stars is for the wonderful people that work in the office.

  Have never had to wait extremely long times when picking up and/or sending packages. Most of the postal workers are friendly and efficient; one has the tendency to sound like she's a a parent who's tired of repeating herself to her children, the costumers...lol (if I'm in a good mood, I find her sarcastically funny, otherwise it's quite irritating). The "parent" postal worker is the only reason I didn't give this post office a five star rating.
