  The service keeps getting worse, the fees rise every year, and the staff is rude and unhelpful. David Brooks is the worst.

  The second most dysfunctional Post Office branch in a 2 mile radius. A time sensitive package was accidentally shipped to the Ketchum post office, a mile down the road. Instead of simply delivering the package to the Sun Valley post office, it was sent back to Boise. After the mishandling delay, the packaged arrived back in Sun Valley 3 days later. I was informed it was available available for pickup and made my way to the post office after work the same day. By the time I arrived to retrieve the package I desperately needed, it had been returned to sender hours after arrival. Not their package, not their problem. The USPS website also does not work to change delivery instructions or intercept a package, so there’s nothing that can be done. Stick to UPS or FedEx if you want to actually receive anything in this town.

  USPS tracking says to pick up your package at this address, stating they will hold it for about 2 weeks. I go in and talk to them the day my package arrives, they assure me that they will hold it for 30 days, and to return in 2 days when they have sorted it. Return in 2 days to find it has been returned to sender. Happens again the next week, I go in the day after delivery, and its a different story: this USPS office chooses not to follow the online tracking information, you can leave your name on a post-it and pray they will actually call you... lol The customer behind me in line let me know USPS does not deliver a package to any street address in all of sun valley.. and pointed to a sign that states this and lets you know how to address your package to get it delivered. Both postal workers failed to show me this sign or help on 2 different occasions. The customer did the postal workers job, and I am really grateful for that. I am posting the information that the customer showed me. If you mail it to the address in the photo, you HAVE TO write "general delivery" somewhere by your name for the post office to not return it!!

  They are very rude and unwilling to help. If a package without a P.O. Box is sent to them they won’t hold it for more than 24 hours (understandable) but I’ve gotten there several times within a few hours and they won’t even go in the back to look for it. My tracking information says it’s there but they refuse to go look

  Jen is a nightmare . She loves to flirt with all the male delivery drivers instead of doing her job . She loves to tell people she can’t do anything ! We are not getting our mail or pkgs ! By the time we come back to get our pkg she will have some new excuse but be out there flirting with the delivery guys . Someone needs to step I and clean this place up !
