After it was investigated and documented; and after being promised by the route manager that they would do the right thing and reimburse me for a new door, they still refuse to follow through. Calls go to voicemail and are never returned; and emails are never answered. These are the people our tax dollars keep employed. Update… almost a year later, and USPS still REFUSES to pay for the door they broke. Now with packages to be delivered, this last image is what they do…. Just leave packages out in the snow on he sidewalk instead of even attempting to get it to the door. Luckily they left it in the tracks from the garbage can, or it would’ve been in deeper snow.
