- VVVyberWolfSep 5, 20251.0Over the last few months I've been ordering things to my apartment through Amazon but delivered by USPS, specifically this USPS. Normally when an item is too big for my mailbox, they deliver to my front door (like a cat water fountain I bought a few weeks ago, a stainless steel litter box I bought a month ago etc). However, today didn't go as expected. I was waiting on a cat tower (even in a deconstructed state, it's obviously gonna be a package too big for my mailbox) yet got a notification it was "undeliverable due to mailbox being full or too small". Huh? Who is their right mind would have thought it would fit in my mailbox? Why wasn't it delivered to my front door as usual when an item is too big? Why even put it on the truck if you aren't going to deliver it because sight alone can tell you it's not gonna fit in a mailbox. Smh so now I have to make a special trip to the post office tomorrow to pick it up when they were literally 20 feet from my front door and too lazy to deliver it. Also tried calling but it's impossible to speak to a human being so that's why I'm just gonna go get it myself. I really hope I can somehow never use USPS again as a delivery service. This is absurd.

- MRMichael RobisonAug 9, 20254.0I went online and made an appt for a month later to get a passport at the Lewiston Id post office. A few days later I received a call from them telling me they don't offer that service and directed me to call the courthouse. Courthouse got me on that day.
- JSJacob ShakurJul 15, 20251.0It would seem they don't ever answer their phone. I guess they think it's an optional thing. I see from the other reviews that this is in no way specific to me or the days/times I was trying to call. A nearby post office also told me that even they can practically never get a hold of people here. Anyone having this issue or other issues with this location, I suggest you file a complaint. This is abhorrent for a government / taxpayer funded service. But if all anyone ever does is post a review on Google, they probably won't be correcting things anytime soon. (so, file a report) Report instructions: Search for "How to file a U.S. Postal Service complaint" and the first result will take you to the USA gov page. This will have some contact info and links. In the second section there's: "Where to file a complaint about theft, fraud, or waste by USPS employees" and a link to file a complaint online. That will take you to a page with two options. Click the "Report Fraud, Waste, and Abuse" under hotline. That will take you to a new page and ask for some info. Then you can choose a few different options. It seems one of these is appropriate for the issues I see in these reviews: Employee behavior, or driving/parking complaints Problem with service at a Post Office Each of those will take you to a different area where you'll just fill out some information about the issue/problem.
