- MKMary Kienitz1 day ago1.0The Hailey Post Office offers inconsistent and unreliable service, particularly with respect to delivery. I have received mail in the recent past. However, today, I was notified that the package I was expecting was being held at the post office. The reason given is that a form had not been filled out for delivery at said address (the form has been filled out). When possible, I always request UPS or FedEx, which is much more reliable.
- TTTWKDec 29, 20251.0Shipped a box of homemade Christmas cookies to my mom in Hailey from Kansas City. The cookies arrived in the city of Hailey a timely manner, but then just sat for an entire week. Then they spent several days “out for delivery” before being sent back to me. I was confused (and really disappointed since making all these different elaborate types of cookies was time consuming) but I figured their address had been covered or obscured. Nope. Address was correct and easy to read. It said “No Mail Recepticle.” Uh… what? It’s a box… leave it by the front door like everyone else does. They get boxes all the time here. Totally incompetent branch of USPS. Wasted my time and money and deprived my mom of her favorite part of Christmas. But hey, at least I got a box of stale, broken cookie shards to enjoy, almost three weeks later. Yay.

Left me there, I was not sure whether to respond back or how. Not sure now where to go to inquire about my packages without being treated like that, for no reason. USPS I understand the the stress there might be, but it was no reason to treat me that way, and for that female worker, is not the first time she has been like that. No customer service at all.
