- JFJose FigueroaJul 7, 20254.0Great post office but I have a question. Per Amazon, my packages were "Package was left in a parcel locker." I was looking forward to receiving this package but when I went down to the mailbox, no key was left in the box. Regular mail was in the box but no key. So how am I to retrieve my packages (one is a present)? I looked up the Post Office but found no phone number so I couldn't call. So am I being too picky about my service or should I just keep quiet about it? Sometimes they deliver to my door and sometimes not. What am I suppose to do? Just asking. (P.S. I was forced to give a rating so this could be posted.)
- MBMark BolinJun 25, 20241.0Usps is contracted with Prime to deliver packages. However the loophole is if the address is not registered for usps delivery they will not deliver it. Had to drive 2 hours when I paid for home delivery. With today's technology either usps or prime should be able to detect this problem and select another service for delivery. This post office made it seem like it was my fault when in reality I have no control over what service delivers the package.
- KHKate HolmesMar 27, 20205.0I contacted the Garden Valley Idaho Post Office regarding a missing package issued with a tracking ID. The package stated it was delivered; this was confirmed with both merchant and post office. They had a intermittent carrier delivering during this missing package and it was placed in a locker for someone else and we were delivered someone else’s mail. Kieran confidently reassured me she would locate the missing package and if she had to drive 20 miles out of way would get it delivered to us. Within minutes of ending our telephone conversation she had another local carrier on the phone that would check the parcel lockers for the missing package. Within 45 minutes the local carrier, Tom located the missing package and personally delivered it to our doorstep and picked up the other persons mail that was erroneous placed in our mail locker. This package was extremely important as it was our daughters 40th birthday gift and a integrated part of the centerpiece for the surprise party that evening. Thank you Garden Valley Idaho Post Office Team for your postal service commitment standards and ensuring excellent customer service. Too often it is easy to find the negative and we fail providing positive feedback. I am very appreciative of our rural local post office. Thank you.
