I truly try to avoid Betty at this USPS location because every interaction with her has been unpleasant. She is consistently rude, irritated, and harsh with customers. I always come in with a good mood and even try to be friendly so she might soften a bit, but she remains angry and dismissive no matter what. It is honestly shocking how negative she is every single time and it makes coming here stressful. On the other hand, Jim is wonderful. He is kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. He treats people with respect and makes the whole experience so much better. I also want to mention last summer when the air conditioning was out and the building was extremely hot, he was a literal ray of sunshine. Jim stayed upbeat, reassured everyone it would get fixed, and made the best of a miserable situation. I could barely stand walking in the door but he never complained once and still took care of everyone with kindness. This location has some truly great employees like Jim, but Betty is the exact opposite. I really hope management can support her in changing her attitude or place her somewhere she is happier, because the customer experience is dramatically worse when she is at the counter.

Waited in line for an hour to start..2 out of three registers in use..average wait time an hour. The rep that helped me got a phone call as soon as I got up to the counter..and left for about 7 minutes ,Asked about the difference in online pricing vs in store pricing..explained that I don't have a printer, was told "guess you don't get the discount then." By the other rep on duty, So not only do I drive 45 minutes spend my gas to get to the post office, but I box my crap up myself, fill out the sending and receiving info, pay for the shipping and don't argue or complain about the overall lack of interest in helping anyone(they must get paid by the hour, and are unhappy about the rate they are paid cause they where slow and both unhappy) but I also get -star quality service on top of it all. As someone who has done call center work (a truly thankless job) I can at least spot someone trying to help or give good service ..not even a bleep on my radar..in fact, USPS..can you please hire me, that way I can at least provide an example as to what actually customer service looks like.. sorry for the rant..but an hour,to box,my own crap and wait even longer once I got to the counter and the underwhelming service..well it was a little bit much and not in a good way
