- LCLynne Chandlee2 days ago1.0I have been shipping frozen meat through this store for years. I have the store pack the meat for me because it requires special packing which is a styrofoam box. When my meat arrived at the destination it was totally thawed out and dripping blood. The box had absolutely NO packing.....styrofoam. Just a plain cardboard box. UPS does not reimburse perishable goods which I understand. However, this is not a UPS problem; this is the owner of the store's responsibility because it was his/her employee's negligence that caused the problem. I did everything possible to insure proper shipping including providing more that enough dry ice for the journey. Had the "expert packer" done his job this would not have happened. This store's employee caused a problem in this store and the store owner should be responsible for making this right. When packed correctly in styrofoam the meat has always arrived fully frozen. I have left numerous messages with this store that have gone unanswered.
