Box numbers so a street address has to be added. This creates confusion and my packages have been delivered to the p,o, box number matching the street address number. Some companies have rejected our street address completely because it comes up as non existent. Since no mail is delivered at home, who knows... maybe Mom owned this property for 25 years thinking it was 302 due to a typo/error and it really is 304. This post office told my mom that the only way they'd deliver to our street is if the neighbors agreed to a cluster mail box a block away! What!?!?? The majority of the people living on this dead end road are of the ages that it wouldn't be safe for them to be walking in Iowa winter weather or extreme heat of the summer down the road to get their mail. They should be willing to deliver mail to ANY home with a mailbox set up for delivery! When did the postal service get so lazy?!??! Why are they paid as well as they are if they're no longer willing to get out of their vehicles and walk the mail house to house in town like it's done in most every place I've ever lived?!??! This office is shamefully lacy. It's such a small town that there really is no legitimate excuse for the way they're doing things.
