- KRKevin RossMar 30, 20263.0Mediocre at best. Daily mail is usually delivered on time. However, I have had 3 packages lost this year already. I have 2 packages that were damaged and we're insured. I went to my local post office to file a claim, the postmaster told me that I would have to go to a larger post office. That office told me that I have to file the claim online. Got the very extensive report filed (you need to send them proof of everything. Nothing. No communication back from them what so ever. I was out my $250.

My husband went to check the mail (we live in an apartment building here in town) and whoever delivered the mail yesterday left the top set of mailboxes completely wide open. My husband closed them as much as he could and went to the post office to report it. They didn't seem too concerned from what he said. There could be sensitive information in these mail pieces and leaving the mailbox wide open like that could lead to disaster. PLEASE be more careful when you are delivering mail to lock the mailboxes back up.
