Our regular mailman is great. Thank you, Brian. I had a package that dropped off the delivery info site. Turns out it was delivered to the wrong address in the next block and brought to me by a nice neighbor. Liz from the post office called me at 7:30 pm on NYE to try to sort this out. She could see who shipped the package, and I was able to confirm we got it.

The line always seems to be ridiculously long (only one window open whenever I visit) but today's visit gets a 5⭐ review because Carmen at the window was obviously exhausted (it was 3pm, she had been there since 6am, and hadn't even had a chance for a lunch break), but was cheerful and a genuine pleasure to interact with. She should be teaching USPS customer service on a national level. Thanks for the positive experience, Carmen!

Today was probably the most negative interaction I've had yet, and yes I'm aware Hartig is another option for mail. The clerk FLUNG my package into the bin without any cares, very obviously. Did not ask if it was fragile, just didn't care at all. Could've avoided the whole interaction if the package drop had been open but it was closed, & the clerk clearly was annoyed by mentioning that it was, saying "we haven't gotten to that yet". They also NEVER give you a chance to pick an alternate form of receipt - STOP AUTOMATICALLY SELECTING PAPER RECEIPT, SOME CUSTOMER DO NOT WANT THAT.

One person doing both passports and handling mail customers on a Saturday. More employees are needed or appropriate coverage should be arranged. Long-winded transactions (passports) should be handled separately from the shorter mail clients to move the line more efficiently, seeing as how hours are limited already. The one person handling everything alone advised all of us in line that staff was being held at a different location due to management. Hopefully this is a one-off and I caught them on a bad day.
