I Dropped off a package this afternoon and the girl at the counter was confused about what to do with it. I asked if everything was ok and she said she would accept the package. She was questioning whether the package was too large for them to accept. However she decided to accept it anyways. After I left and got home I received a call from the FedEx store stating that they couldn’t accept my package and I would have to come back and get it and take it to a different FedEx location. I live a half hour away from their store. When I asked why she would accept the package in the first place they stated if I didn’t pick it up the package it would be destroyed and they wouldn’t ship it from that location. Even though I had a receipt stating that they accepted the package. They then said the pickup driver wouldn’t accept taking it on his truck. When I arrived to take it back the delivery pickup driver was there so I asked him why he couldn’t fit my package on his large cube truck and he stated it wasn’t his call it was up to the guy I spoke with on the phone. So he lied to me and blamed it on the driver. So I had to waste a hour round trip to get it back and now I have to figure out who will take a 40”x40”x20” 50lb package. I wouldn’t recommend using this location. They have teenagers running the store try at obviously don’t know how to do their jobs. Proper training would have eliminated these problems so I didn’t waste my time running around. What a joke!!!!!
Update I called out to fedex ground by the airport and they had no idea why they wouldn't take my package at the office location on 1st ave. They told me I could bring it out there and drop it off with no problem or they offered to pick it up at my address on Monday.
So now a fedex ground truck is going to pickup my package Monday morning for me without a problem. Same as the truck that would have taken it from their store.
This all comes down to young employees not being trained properly to know how to do their job. Lying about how to get it resolved and pushing it back on the customer. I will never recommend that location and I will never return my business to them.

So completely sick of trying to call for a quick question and having to go through 900000 automations to get someone on the phone. The employees are always so nice, but this system is garbage. Never in my life will I ever use Fedex again.
