- ARA RDec 24, 20251.0I paid almost $600 dollars to ship a box of Christmas gifts to Mexico. I sent it December 9th and it was to arrive by December 18. It’s Christmas today and the gifts are “stuck in customs” the DHL website does not give me any updates other than “processing by customs”. I will never use this company ever again they are overpriced and the gifts will not make it by Christmas. I can’t even get a hold of a human!!!

I was supposed to have a package delivered this past Thursday but they drove past my house and said my address was "bad" after having sent text updates multiple times, once with a live map showing the truck on my road. I called DHL and told them what happened. The guy didn't understand because when he entered my address into Google maps, it was fine. He said it would be delivered the next day. The next day, I didn't get any text updates and when I checked the tracking, it said it was put on "hold" at 4:38pm. No explanation at all, just "hold". I called DHL again and once again, they didn't know why. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they don't transfer calls. Now it's supposed to be delivered on Monday. If it doesn't show up, I'm supposed to call a third time and talk to another representative who will also not have any information. Pathetic.

My shipment was to be rerouted to a different destination and was submitted in a timely manner, however they seem to be incapable of reading the simple message that was in their system to reroute it. Not that hard to do but apparently they are incapable of doing the most simple of tasks. They marked it ready for pick up at the destination I had them reroute it to, just to find out that they still have it in their possession saying I need to come pick it up. Pathetic and I hope they reimburse the shipping because it’s not that difficult to do a simple job.
