Great customer service and communication on behalf of the post office.

Next business day I go to pick it up. “Oh, we forwarded it already and it’ll get delivered today” Package never shows up, start to fill out lost package form, check tracking one more time. “No secure place to leave it, notice left”. Stop filling out form and check porch. No notice. Go to post office. Two employees are mad I submitted the form. Tell them no, I didn’t. Say I did. I ask why the guy didn’t deliver or leave a slip. Told I owe postage due to forwarding. Even though it didn’t actually get forwarded, the carrier never tried to deliver it, I still had to pay to pick up the package.
