Misplaced/lost mail and rude workers. I wish we could get a mailbox instead.

I have been tracking the progress of a package for 2 weeks and today was the exciting day! Carrier dropped the PS 3849 re-delivery form in the mailbox and did not even bother to ring our bell. Isn’t this form to go on the door??? Just wanted to finish the shift and did not bother to exit the mail truck and come to the door with our package. We know we were here as we had checked the mail box at 4:00pm with nothing there and then looked again at 5:45pm and the redelivery slip and another mail piece was now in the street-side mailbox. Marked “No authorized recipient available.” They had not checked the signature required box, because I APPLIED THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE ALREADY in INFORMED DELIVERY!!! They did write “signature” up next to “About the missed delivery” but there was no signature needed as stated above due to my having already electronically signed. Furthermore, when I try to select redelivery at the site usps.com/redelivery it does not recognize the PS Form 3849 bar code, nor the original tracking number. What a miserable system and sad that there is no pride in work being demonstrated.

Absolutely love this post office.
Best one on the Island. Super friendly staff and the reviews that complaint about wait time just have to understand how super short staffed everyone is. Just go at non busy hours. These postal workers do there very best to serve everyone quickly, proficient and very friendly.
