- PPPaul_hawaiiMar 26, 20261.0There was no zero so I had to rate a 1. I sent my taxes from Florida to my go to tax preparer in Lihue. Priority mail with tracking. My tax preparer went to Lihue Post Office to pick up the package as they supposedly tried to deliver it during business hours and claims no one was there to accept it. The tax preparer told me that when she picked up the package it arrived soaking wet from the storm. She had to separate all the wet pages and dry it out. These were all our original tax forms. When I tried to contact the Lihue Post Office to make a complaint I received a recording saying it was past regular business hours when it was actually 2:40 pm on a weekday. These people are horribly incompetent. They charge a fortune for this service. They should not be subsidized by our tax dollars. I will never use USPS again for anything and will pursue damages when I find the extent.

I went to this office to mail my international donation last Friday and was treated by a very unprofessional clerk who later released the details of my shipping and personal information to a third party. The manager resolved the issue immediately on the next business day.
