She was about to step around the counter when she saw that I was carrying a heavy package but I ran up so she instead reached over the counter to pull it up. She then proceeded to very sweetly and patiently walk me through the entire process of sending the package to Japan. I can't remember when I've had a more pleasant interaction at the post office. She is a definite asset to the Kaimuki branch as well as the entire U.S. Postal system!

She is so kind and always give you the best advice, if you are looking for the cheapest way to ship something internationally. She doesn't make you feel dumb at the counter -- if anything, she'd only make your day better. The service can be slow because this location is run by Faye and few others? I've seen other staff only a few times. Hours are also a bit inconvenient if you want to get your chores done in the morning, but Kahala's USPS is not too far from here if this location is closed. I can only imagine that tasks at a post office can be thankless and tedious, so I really appreciate Faye's genuine aloha spirit and her excellent customer service!
