  Jody Wong was fantastic! She truly understands customer needs and delivers efficient, high-quality service. Jody is also notary-certified and provides speedy, reliable service—much faster and more convenient than going to a bank. Keep in mind that they open earlier than most mail carrier locations, which is perfect for urgent matters. Honestly way better than FedEx!!! If you need something done quickly, head to UPS Kāhala and ask for Jody!

  The staff is very friendly and there is a parking lot. What I didn’t like was the lack of transparency in the “sales” process. I needed a box and tape for my items. Never was price mentioned until the very end. I never imagined an 18x18x18 box that costs $5 at Office Depot would be $18 at the UPS store. Taping the box was $5. And they charged another $5 packaging fee…because? Once given the list of additional item costs, the box has already been taped and packed, so you’re stuck. But paying nearly $30 for “packing” in addition to shipping costs is prohibitive to most, so not being up front about those costs is shady and disrespectful to customers.

  I have been coming here for years and have had positive experiences overall. However, the last time I was there to return an Amazon package. I waited in line and when it was my turn, the guy refused to help me because I had a line on my phone. He said I had to use the self serve scan machine. I told him that the Hawaii Kai UPS scanned my packages no problem. This guy wouldn't do it and was rude and pointed to the machine. I wish I got his name.

  Friendly staff. Clean store. Parking lot can be full when restaurant is open.
