Unable to cash postal money order because they had no funds. Went to both Post Offices. It is even under $500. No safe to cash? Its been 2 days and no money able to cash a $400 postal money order. Riduclous.

I’ve had a couple bad experiences with this Post Office. By far the worst and the one that instills the least confidence is when I was notified that my package had been delivered to this postal location just before Christmas. I actually had several items delivered (Amazon) and they were all presents for family and friends. When I went to pick up the items, I didn’t see the yellow slip in my box so I went to the window to see what was up. The gentleman at the desk informed me that the package had already been picked up! Long story short, the slip had been put in someone else’s box and they were only too happy to take it to the window and receive their new Xmas gifts. I didn’t get an apology, any offer of compensation, nor did I even get the satisfaction of an admission of fault. I was told to fill out a bunch of forms and turn them in to possibly be compensated for a fraction of the value. In the end I did what most would and just called Amazon. They sent a new shipment at no cost and with little hassle. The contrast between a government agency and a company that competes in the market place is stark!
