Great post office and convenience store. Also one of the few PayPoint stores in area which issues International Drivers Permit document.

Great little store in Wivelsfield. Lots of products to choose from for quick shopping trips. A good range of cards and post accessories. It has a post office counter which is great and open until 4pm every day which is great as even if the daily collection has passed, you can still process packages (unlike some others who close at 1pm). The staff are always friendly and helpful. Limited on road parking outside but usually available.

I don't want to have a permanent bad review on here because things can always change, but can I just request you have consistent opening times and could you please have stamps available at the SHOP counter so we can still buy stamps when the post office counter is closed??

I was really pleased when I moved to the village 7years ago to have a local post office. Unfortunately there opening times very much depends on the day and how the post master feels.
My experience today feels like the last straw, when I arrived he was busy dealing with a customer at the counter, I stood there for several minutes before he turned round and said I would have to come back at 1 as it was lunch time and he had to go on the other counter. There was no one else in the shop so there was not anyone waiting to be served. My parcel just needed to be scanned and would have taken less than a minute.
This has happened before and I have stood there many times waiting for him while he is off doing who knows what.
