Fantastic little post office. It’s located just inside the entrance to the Co-op, on the left, so you don’t actually need to go into the main shop to access it.
The staff are genuinely lovely, extremely helpful, and always seem able to sort out whatever you need. Parking can be a little difficult at peak times, but otherwise it’s very convenient. A great local post office and one I’m very happy to recommend.

I usually send parcels to Ireland. It can get quite cramped at busy times, but they try to work as quickly as possible.

Asked for advice on which postal service I should use for my parcel, special delivery or 1st class. The staff member strongly recommended special delivery but after weighing up the price difference in my head I opted to use the 1st class service. The staff member then proceeded to tell me I was doing the wrong thing and that in the event of the parcel going missing I would have to prove the contents was not worth over £20 or I would not receive any compensation at all (strange policy but I accepted it and still stuck with my original choice of 1st class). They then proceeded to write on my receipt that I had been ‘advised’ of this recommendation and just made the whole customer experience tense and unpleasant. The anger I felt towards me after picking the cheaper delivery option is not appropriate or called for especially when people’s money is not stretching as far as it used to. Some customer service training would definitely go a long way and I personally hope other people don’t have to have the same experience as me.

Yes, standing outside right now is required, and it can DEFINITELY be cold and often also wet. But having moved here very recently, may I say what a total pleasure it has been to meet such cheerful, kind, informative and helpful workers. Thank you.
