The older lady is always very pleasant and just lovely , however the younger girl/woman is rude/ignores you (on her phone or not ever at the counter at busy times) has zero customer services skills and is emotionally detached from the skillset which is required to work in a small village community shop/post office. Typical of people her age tbh 17-25 It’s very sad to see

Awful customer service - rude and unhelpful. A joke registering themselves as a DPD drop point but then refusing to take some parcels. If you don’t take large parcels you should say so. Came back when told to later in the day and then the lied about what they’d said earlier and still didn’t accept the parcel.

Awful customer service, manner and communication. Unhelpful on every level. Refused a totally valid package as they didn’t have space. If they have not got space to accept goods either, state on websites you can’t accept large items, so I don’t waste time on multiple trips today, or conversely just don’t accept packages full stop if you don’t have the room.
If people are wondering why local post offices are closing down, this is the definition of it.
Rude, unfriendly and unhelpful.

Frequently Asked Questions About Holyport Post Office
How much cash can I withdraw at a Post Office counter?
The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.
For details, please check directly with your own bank.
How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque
*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches

Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
