Appalling customer service and completely disorganised staff that laughed at me and yelled at me. I went in to return three straightforward parcels (5/10min job). Waited in a very long queue - fair enough, busy time of day. However, once I was being served, I was constantly punted back and forth between two staff members who kept leaving me mid-transaction to serve other people.
Because a bit of tape on one package was coming off, the male staff member took it upon himself to lecture me - telling me I wasn't organised and needed to 'do my research' first before coming in - I DID - rather than just handling it.
Based on my own working experience, returning three parcels is a five/ten-minute job at most. But due to them constantly wandering off, abandoning my transaction to deal with others, and inefficiently managing the queue, it was dragged out into a half-hour ordeal. When a queue naturally built up because of their chaotic workflow, the owner had the audacity to publicly give me a hard time and have a go at me for "holding up the queue" when all I did was stand there, waiting for them to finish the job they started. I was then flitted back and forth between the two desks as I had to purchase a bag because one parcel wasn't correctly bagged, despite being returned exactly as it was delivered to me. I had to go to the other queue to buy the bag and was apparently then expected to wait again at the back of another queue, upsetting customers who then also had a go at me because of the staff's incompetence.
To top it off, when I was visibly stressed trying to find my digital return label, the female staff member stood there smirking, looking over at her male colleague, and impatiently drumming her fingers instead of showing a shred of basic decency. Absolutely mortifying and upsetting. I will not be returning and will be telling others not to. Fix your customer service and basic manners.
Avoid this branch if you value your time and basic respect as a customer.

Local post office in the centre of Broxburn. Ideally situated, but difficult to find a nearby parking place. The staff are helpful and polite, and the store is well stocked with stationary, DIY items, gifts, and snacks.
