Absolutely appalling customer service at the Post Office in Covingham Square, Swindon.
The woman serving was arrogant, rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from start to finish. Not only towards me, but also towards the customer in front of me. She spoke to people with irritation and contempt, as though customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the business exists.
There was no politeness, no care, no patience, and frankly no basic respect. She handled parcels carelessly, rushed every interaction, and gave the impression that she could not care less about customer service.
I genuinely walked away instead of responding because I knew I was close to losing my temper over how unacceptable the behaviour was.
People do not expect royal treatment when posting a parcel. They expect basic decency and professionalism. Unfortunately, this branch delivered neither.
One of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a very long time.

They were clearly not happy in their job. I was quite shocked by the rude behaviour, but at the same time I understand that many people are going through a difficult time. It would also be good to have more young people working at the counter.
