I visited the Post Office desk recently and had a disappointing experience. The customer service was poor and the staff member I dealt with came across as rude and unhelpful. There was little effort to explain things clearly, and I felt spoken to in a dismissive manner.

I posted letter from here in customer receipt they mentioned correct post code but sticker pasted on envelope was having different post code. Now my documents are lost they are saying to contact royal mail.
They shouldn't have pasted incorrect post code sticker on envelope in first place. Totally disgusting staff don't know basics too.

I visited this branch specifically because the official Post Office website states they offer a 'DVLA Photocard Renewal' service for £21.50, which includes taking a digital photo and handling the renewal electronically.
Despite my name and details being the same, I was incorrectly told by staff that they do not offer this service unless the license is expired. This is the opposite of what is stated online. As a result, I had to use a manual D1 paper form, which led to a significant and unnecessary increase in cost:
• Official Digital Service: £21.50 (all-in)
• What I was forced to pay: £10.00 (booth photos) + £17.00 (DVLA fee) + £2.13 (Postal Order fee) + postage costs.
The staff's refusal to provide the advertised digital service resulted in me paying nearly double the price and I even witnessed other customers being given this same false information. If it it indeed not a service you offer, remove it from the site. If it is, then offer the service in full.

Stood at the counter to post a parcel for 25 minutes, no staff showed up the entire time.
Had to go to old town.
Pathetic service.

How much cash can I withdraw at a Post Office counter?
The amount you can withdraw in a Post Office branch will depend on any withdrawal limits in place on the specific account you hold with your bank. If you’re unsure, please contact your bank directly to check.
Do I get charged for making cash withdrawals at Post Office?
No charges are taken at the counter however some banks may charge.
For details, please check directly with your own bank.
How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque
*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches
*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)
Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope.
Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
To get more information about your bank’s services and Change Giving, contact them directly.
What is the Post Office Change Giving service?
If you’re a business banking customer and you regularly need to exchange cash for coins, you can do this at the Post Office with selected banks using our Change Giving and Change Giving “Lite” services.
