- AGANDREW GeorgeJun 11, 20265.0A lovely welcoming atmosphere with a cornucopia of lovely unique gifts and souvenirs at the front of the shop. At the back is the Post Office, although small is the LAST one still trading in Salisbury city centre! Their fully comprehensive Post Office service (including a Bureau de Change) is always carried out professionally and sympathetically even when occasionally things go wrong with matters beyond their control. For its size queuing is far quicker than the supermarket in-store P.0. They are now handling all DPD and EVRI deliveries and collections to boot. Well done - Salisbury is incredibly lucky to have you.

The other, as a previous reviewer said, just keeps repeating the same thing, even when shown that the post office website says something completely different! She just says, I don’t know why they say that, you can only do this! All while not apologising for the lack of knowledge, or keeping you waiting. Certainly no smile, please or thank you. Of course when you check the information they have given at a post office where staff are better informed/trained and realise their job is to help the customer , you find they were wrong anyway and sending your letter abroad and tracked is actually a perfectly simple, easily executed request. Other post offices are much better than this one.

If it's busy I just go have a coffee or conduct other business, and come back when it's less so; just after opening, lunchtimes and Fridays seem to be peak times. I always use this post office as I conduct a lot of eBay business. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly, and I have never had a bad experience here.
- RSRuth SmithApr 4, 20262.0Don’t find the staff very helpful, they don’t exactly go above and beyond! They try and insist you have £20 in £1 coins if you just want £10 worth, lazy. They also won’t allow you to change a small amount of money without paying it into an account, because they get paid for every transaction. My local post office is much more accommodating!
