- HBHollie Bell2 days ago1.0one star is too generous. I've been served by the blonde short-haired woman with glasses twice now and both times it has been the worst interaction I've ever had with someone. she starts by glaring at you (this means you can approach, even though it doesn't feel like you can) then she will either ignore you or be as blunt and rude as possible, so being ignored is probably the better option. i went to the post office today to send a parcel, only to be told "we're closed at the moment." i waited for an explanation but all i got was a glare (not sure what i expected there, but anyway). i replied "oh really?" to which she said "yeah....about 5-10 minutes." brilliant! if only there was a page or website where you could post your opening and closing times! oh wait - there is, and it says you close at 5:30pm. thank you so much for the notice. may i suggest that little "sorry we are closed" sign is placed somewhere a little more visible? maybe, i don't know, the door? or on the counter? not behind the grubby 'transparent' panels where it has a 0% chance of being seen? oh, and remove the 'sorry' part too, because you're not.

If you want to experience people who are rude, refuse to talk to you, are impolite, walk away from you to serve another customer at an entirely different counter, different and puff because the effort is too much. Then visit here. I came to pick up a parcel and the bloke just pointed to where they are all stacked.. needless to say I wouldn't be surprised if they have some go missing. Avoid this at all costs. Mind you this is just a reflection on Royal Mail and Parcelforce in general. About time it was all nationalised.
