The old lady that owns this is absolutely rude. I've been a few times to post things... she's very hit and miss with her mood swings. During this last visit, she spoke to me rudely, when i challenged her- she told me to get out !?! It's very clear, i won't be going back!

THIEVES/FRAUD-DO NOT USE Like multiple others on here (should have read reviews first)I went to Highroad Well post office in Halifax to complete a V62 form in order to get a new log book for my car, change the address and tax it at the same time. It is £25 for the new log book. The lady at the post office told me it was £25 for the log book and a further £25 to tax the car with no reminder letter. I agreed as I trusted her to know this information, she said it was cash only but offered to take the money from my account as cash back. She then gave me 2 receipts, one for the years tax which was £200 and one for a postal order for the new log book of £25 however my statement shows £53.13 removed as cash back and the £200 as car tax. Once home I asked my step dad who used to be the manager of the main post office in Leeds, he said that this is not correct and it is just £25 for the log book and they DECEIVED AND STOLE THE OTHER £25. He also said that a postal order would not be needed in this case and the way they have processed it all is wrong. He even spoke to their old area manager who said he has trained them repeatedly in this but they still do it. Looking at their reviews online they have been doing this a lot and I believe they are keeping that extra £25 for theirselves. I will make a complaint to the post office online and have made a report to the police as this is theft, I urge everyone else to as well as they need closing down. I have not confronted the shop as they have a dog in there and looking at the numerous online Google reviews of it this has been happening for years and they can be quite threatening when confronted. I do not understand how they are still open.

If confusion were a service, this Post Office would be 5 stars. Visited in the morning around 8am to drop off a parcel. The woman at the counter told me to come back as their opening times are 8.30-5:30. Fair enough, I rearranged my day and came back just after 5… the same woman then told me, quite abruptly, that it was already closed even though Google clearly states they close at 5.30. When I politely pointed out what I’d been told earlier, I was met with, “Do you not understand English?” followed by an offer to “speak in Urdu instead.” Completely unnecessary, unprofessional, and frankly quite offensive. It somehow got worse. I was then told to just hand over my parcel and pay £10… with absolutely no discussion about weight, size, delivery type, or anything remotely resembling how a Post Office is supposed to work. No questions, no explanation—just “pay £10.” I half expected the next step to be guessing the destination by vibes alone. Needless to say, I declined and left. Customer service should not involve being spoken down to, dismissed or rushed into paying for a service that hasn’t even been explained. Disappointing experience all round—I’ll be taking my parcels (and my patience) elsewhere.

The old lady at the post office is very rude and abrupt, she took the parcel and began to get rude with the qr code, telling me its been placed incorrectly and shouting that i can not follow her instructions, excuse me but this is your job, not mine, i kindly offered to take the parcel elsewhere but magically the Qr code was sorted. I wouldnt reccomend dropping your parcels off there.
