- IIIncisorJan 12, 20261.0Administrative matters are regularly handled with only one postal employee in total. People are standing in the doorway because the line is so long. Several people have already pointed out that the place is severely understaffed. Why is there no change?
- EEE EJan 7, 20261.0The woman today rejected my amazon return, claiming it needed to go to a different post office when I presented the screenshot of the QR code (which also only included the name and picture of the product.) No idea where she was seeing this infomation on my phone about a different post office, as there was nothing else to see or even a post office address written on the screenshot, but she was adamant that was the reason she wouldn't take the parcel. She didnt even scan the QR code, if she had done, the QR code would've been accepted and my parcel returned. As stated on the royal mail website: "Go to Any Post Office: Take the item and your phone with the QR code to any Post Office branch.". I have never had this issue at any other post office, only this one today.

How do I deposit a cheque at Post Office?
To deposit a cheque, you’ll need to bring the following to your nearest branch:
*The cheque
*A completed deposit slip from your bank, if applicable. Please contact your bank to request paying-in slips as these are not held in Post Office branches
*A cheque deposit envelope for your bank (these are available from your own bank or the majority are stocked in Post Office branches)
Please do not enclose cash. Full instructions can be found on the cheque deposit envelope.
Simply hand over your sealed cheque deposit envelope to the Post Office who will provide you with a receipt for your cheque deposit envelope.
Why did my Post Office refuse to issue change?
If you’ve registered for the Change Giving service, you shouldn’t be refused change at your nominated Post Office branch.
You may have been refused if you’re not signed up to this service. If you’d like to do so, contact your bank directly to find out whether they offer the service and how to sign up.
If you’ve signed up but aren’t using your nominated branch, it’s at that branch’s discretion whether they have enough change available to fulfil your request.
