I prefer to support local businesses rather than big chains, but I honestly cannot recommend this place. Every time I visit, whether it be to buy products or use the post office, I end up having to wait for at least 5 minutes because there is one person serving everyone. There is also a minimum card spend which is irritating as it's very rare nowadays, and most people rarely use cash.

Been living in Petworth for a year or so now and always appreciate the friendly family atmosphere in the Post Office. Mainly, it’s efficient and hassle free with great service.

Staff are good if it’s open, but have given up trying now, it seems to be closed by 1pm most days? So you can’t do banking or post things in a lunch break, I now drive to midhurst, the post office is open till 5pm with post office staff, or the garage staff can process it and send the next day until 10pm
It would be sad to see petworth loose the facility but honestly, it’s so unreliable I probably wouldn’t notice. I don’t understand how they can run as a business.
