AWFUL The post office/ Morrison’s senior management should be ashamed of letting this place so badly run. The place looks dirty, untidy, full of clutter, badly trained staff, unhelpful, poor customer service if any. Post office/ Morrison SORT IT OUT.

I had an Amazon delivery to be returned. Amazon stated that no bag was required. Walked into this place and requested the return. 4 of them behind the counter, each one apparently more of a snowflake than the other, they seemed buoyed but each other's ever more ludicrous response. The item to be returned was a folding pruning saw, yes, the type that cuts things in the garden. Snowflake no.1 - short but sharp intake of breath, followed by, "We haven't got any bags for that." Bearing in mind the boxed item was 2 inches wide by 10 inches long and 1 inch depth, this did not bode well for anyone else wishing to try their pot luck in trying to send anything larger than a stamp. Snowflakes 2, 3 and 4 all frowned, jostled for position in their office and collectively decided that because it was ,"..a knife. It goes against our policy of sending such things." Me, now incredulous and getting irritated, pointed out that I wasn't donating it to the primary school by way of leaving it in the playground, I was committing it to the Post Office system, that it isnt a knife, it's for pruning trees and shrubs. NO. This is a genuine quote. [Snowflake : Someone might hurt someone else with it. Me : Are you seriously suggesting that someone might prune somebody else in Crawley Down with it? Snowflake : They might do. You're free to try any other of our branches. ] I dont think she noticed the ironic pun with her last word. There is no way to adequately express my disappointment that Crawley Down has its own self-affirming group of snowflakes and no way to reason with same. Suffice it to say, the next branch i tried, accepted with no issues and frowned when I explained my previous encounter. He also showed me the post office list of items they won't accept, guess what wasn't on it ? Crawley Down Post Office , may it rest in peace.

Walked down to collect a parcel the post office was closed due to technical issues. They were unable to say when the problem would be sorted and said comeback in a week. I need what is in the parcel so will now have to reorder and get it delivered to home. An unsatisfactory experience.
