What a grumpy staff member.
Really should not be working in a public sector with that sort of persona, making out people are stupid and giving off a can't be bothered work attitude.

I go days without post being delivered and then a mass of it dropping through my letterbox on one day. It was my birthday on the 29th and 4 of my cards turned up on 31st . All had been posted on the 22nd, 2nd class. Does it really take 9 days for second class post now. Obviously, the senders thought they had allowed enough time for their card to reach me for my birthday. This keeps happening, no post for days/weeks and then a mass all on the same day. My neighbours are saying the same. It is not for the post office to decide to hold off delivering mail and deciding when the addressee receives their mail, but that is what appears to be happening regularly now.
