Unhelpful & Rude
Had a very poor experience on posting from
The post office in WHSmith
After being instructed to use the app online,
I did & paid for print label in the post office,
Then informed by Debbie the manger
They can’t print labels,
I was shocked with disbelief.
She had poor customer skills and very unhelpful and lacked knowledge, for a manger
Customer Beware if you need help with international posting, they have poor options
And don’t have the capability to print labels for you, and can’t help you with suggestions.

Paz has been such a great help every time I go to the post office. He’s always friendly, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is done right. No matter how busy it gets, he takes the time to help and explain things clearly. It really makes a difference and turns what could be a stressful errand into a pleasant experience. Truly appreciate his hard work and positive attitude!

Shocking service very rude manager who had no knowledge. I wanted a photo id card and she hadn't a clue what I was talking about. The post office supply them through citizen card! This post office has gone downhill rapidly in the last two or three years like many others. Won't go there again.

Stepping into Wylde Green Post Office is like entering a portal to a parallel universe where time, dignity, and customer service no longer exist. The air is thick—not just with dust, but with the palpable stench of despair and barely concealed contempt.
The staff, a collection of joyless husks, shuffle about with the enthusiasm of sedated sloths. Every interaction is a battle. Ask for help, and you're met with a glare that suggests you've just insulted their ancestors. Smiles are outlawed here. Efficiency? An ancient legend passed down in whispers.
The queue moves at glacial speed, as though each transaction is being chiselled into stone tablets. By the time you reach the counter, you’ll have aged visibly and possibly started questioning your will to live.
It’s not just bad service—it’s anti-service. A place where kindness goes to die and civility is buried under layers of passive aggression. If you’re looking for a reason to lose faith in humanity, Wylde Green Post Office is offering full-time memberships.
Avoid like the plague—though the plague would probably be handled with more courtesy.

The staff here are useless, lazy and incompetent. They are happy to have four people visible in the branch with only one of then actually serving at a time when there's a queue of 12 people and more joining it, whilst make out they have more important things to attend to other than the people paying their wages. On one occasion when challenged the supervisor shrugged her shoulders and just walked back to sit behind a computer in a side office. It's a disgrace but I doubt it'll be sorted anytime soon with the attitude of the people work there, it's been the same for years. It's as if the women here derive some sort of puerile pleasure from winding their customers up.
