- RJRuth JohnsJan 30, 20261.0I googled the opening times to see it said closes 5.15pm i rushed down there before that time to find the post office closed . Upon asking why were they closed the lady was snotty and said yh we’ve changed the time. I suggest if you are running a business you make sure you have the correct opening times up. As some customers who don’t live close by and don’t drive check opening times before leaving. I’ve noticed since i said i was going to make a complaint conveniently the time has now changed. Also i think you should state times when you are closed for lunch online as i have had to stand outside for 30-45 minutes numerous times as they have closed the counter in the afternoons. Do right by your customers. Their post now says check times before visiting but upon ringing to see what time their shut for lunch nobody answers the phone. Do better guys. Update:- Visiting the post office today 20th 2026 i asked the man at the till what time do they close for lunch as it doesn’t say online when you look at the times instead of being helpful he said everyone knows. To which i said i don’t know he then went on to say i can go elsewhere. You can’t ban someone for asking what time you shut for lunch!
