I had the most awful experience today when trying to send a parcel. There's a lady who works in the post office who is very rude and has a very unhelpful attitude.
She explained that I couldn't send a parcel via a particular courier as it's too long for them to take. I accepted this, and opted to send via Royal Mail. Because the label had to be generated by scanning a barcode, I had to write the address on a label she gave me. As I began writing the address on the label, she asked me to step away from the queue so she could serve others waiting. I told her that it would take me less than a minute to write out the address.
She then said, it's not fair that others have to wait, as I wasn't prepared. She has a really rude attitude!!
Firstly, I explained that I was the first customer in the queue, and that I wasn't going to stand at the back of the really long queue (that suddenly appeared), as doing so would make me late for an appointment.
Secondly, it's not my fault that a long queue had formed. The post office worker does not have a clue about customer service!
Her attitude is something else!
She is also telling people that B&Q by the Fort Shopping Centre accept packages. They don't. I know someone who tried this and B&Q told them that they don't accept packages.
What's concerning, is that while the post office worker told me about this, she was smirking! She's deliberately giving out incorrect information.
Her attitude and incorrect advice is terrible!!
