Was met with an incredibly surly, lazy middle aged woman working at the post office who refused to accept the large amount of parcels I had. Jobsworthy doesn’t quite cut it. I agree with all the other reviews here. The staff are appalling. She said we should post the parcels elsewhere. A great post office, if it weren’t for the staff! Cheer up, accept customers and try and be a bit helpful!

Thatcham Broadway post office is terrible. I wouldn’t even risk brining one parcel here. There are much better, friendlier post offices a 3 minute drive away, with easier parking right outside. I tried dropping off 40 out of 80 prepaid parcels here. The middle aged woman behind the counter stubbornly claimed the Royal Mail van would be unable to pickup the parcels and refused to scan more than 10. Went to a different, smaller post office in a Tesco’s 4 minutes down the road, they accepted all 80 parcels. Royal mail van arrived as last few were being scanned, driver said it wouldn’t be a problem to fit in the van.
