I am very disappointed with the customer service at this branch. Today, I went to collect a parcel and was met with unnecessary rudeness by the lady at the counter. Despite being polite and providing my collection code, I was patronized and told "you have to say where the parcel is from Amazon" in a very condescending tone. It is the staff's job to ask for the information they need, not to reprimand customers for not guessing their internal process.
Training needs to be provided in treating customers equally - for not saying where the parcel is from, customers should not be treated like they made a mistake.
Most concerningly, I noticed a clear difference in how I was treated compared to the three white customers in front of me, who were dealt with much more courteously. As an ethnic minority customer, this isn't the first time I’ve felt a lack of respect here. #selective friendliness #two tier service level #internalized Bias

This used to be the best post office, now its the worst since being taken over! Unhelpful and rude staff, close the post office if you don't want to run it.
