post office staff unhelpful, unnecessarily difficult and rude. dont send parcels here, they need all information spelt out to track it in the back and will only look within parameters uou provide (if you say its from evri they will only check evri delivered stock and refuse to look elsewhere). Slow and rude service too.
The onestop shop is ok, just the in house post office

Went here after looking online at the rough cost of my parcel. This around £3.50 plus there handling fee for 48hr tracked small parcel under 500g. The angry lady then tells me it over £11 ?? Then slags off the Royal Mail website for being wrong for a long time. Then I ask for a receipt I’m asked if I wanted in gold, I think she was being sarcastic so I said can I have it in platinum instead😂👍🏻
So either one was incorrect, the multi million pound company ( which I know have done some bad things of late ) or I was being ripped off by the post office ??
So my parcel was eventually sent by standard 2nd class parcel and will hopefully get to the destination by Christmas 😂👍🏻
Will not be back 👎🏻👎🏻

The post office is regularly closed during regular opening times “due to staff shortages” when there’s often multiple staff members standing behind the checkout not doing anything. Really inconvenient as there’s no way of knowing until you turn up there with all your parcels. Majority of the women who work behind the post office till are just generally miserable and make you feel like a nuisance for sending a parcel off and creating them some work. Customer service severely lacking.

Hours are listed incorrectly it is actually iclosed Sunday and any other day the opening hours are very limited making it very inconvenient.I always thought the whole point in having a post office inside a local shop is so it is more convenient to the people of the community so therefore it really should have better opening hours

Good to have a post office here - and I'm glad it's in the onestop, they are very good about following mask wearing rules, unlike the Londis next door who don't seem to care.
